Jade Bok Choy, Baby, Shanghai

Tender baby Asian chard-cabbage. A variation of bok choy, the Shanghai version has a uniform green stem and leaf. The flavor is not as sweet as white bok choy and the stems are softer. Usually stir-fried, steamed or sauteed. Baby Shanghai bok choy is especially tender and delicious. Low in fat. High in vitamin A. High in vitamin C. Source of fiber. Grown by Channel Island Farms.
